Property Description

    The AnsoniA on Lydiard is a small personal hotel located directly across the road from Her Majesty's Theatre and only a short walk from Ballarat Train Station and Ballarat Fine Art Gallery. Just a block away are restaurants, cafes, day spas, antique shops, as well as Ballarat's shopping precinct .
    The AnsoniA Restaurant is open to the public and serves both lunch and dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. We serve a continental breakfast each weekday as well as a cooked breakfast on weekends. For opening hours, please see the Restaurant section of our website. We are generally closed on public holidays.
    We are only a 5 minute drive from Sovereign Hill, the Eureka Centre, Botanical Gardens and Lake District A day trip away are the towns of: Daylesford, Creswick, Castlemaine, Trentham and Maldon.
    Our guest lounge is for guests to enjoy during their stay, with an open fireplace for those chilly Ballarat days, as well as a TV and guest computer.
    New Plasma TV's and air-conditioning are in all rooms. A small refurbishment was completed April, 2010.
